If you’d like to learn more about KidsCoin, come along to one of our free interactive workshops. They’ve been especially designed for adults and children who want to learn together about money and technology.
For the adults, it’s a great opportunity to get involved in your child’s learning, develop new digital skills, and learn about the exciting world of technology.
For the kids, it’s a great introduction to earning, saving and spending money while having loads of fun. As well as using the KidsCoin software, they’ll learn basic coding and become the makers of technology – not just the users! They’ll gain a heap of new skills and a passion for technology.
How are the workshops structured?
Workshops are two hours long.
Part one: Kids and adults explore KidsCoin together.
Part two: The kids are given a practical activity where they become the makers of tech and learn virtual block coding. The adults attend a separate workshop to learn all about the world of tech and the high value tech jobs that are in hot demand.
Part three: Kids and adults come back together and take part in an exciting challenge which requires them to build a prototype that could help solve a global problem.
The only requirement for attending a workshop is that kids have to come along with an adult. This can be mum, dad, aunty, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, teacher – we don’t mind as long as they have an interest in learning.

Everyone who attends a workshop gets free access to the KidsCoin software for 12 months.
This means you can be part of the KidsCoin online community and access the support you need to make KidsCoin work for you and your whānau.
We’re currently finalising our workshop schedule for 2017 so please register your interest and we will contact you.
